Above is a picture of one of our presentors showing us what he does.

The Group Poem

“This is the river, long and flowing. These are the fish, colorful and scaly. This is the sand, wet and grainy. This is the creek, tumbling and calming. These are the roads, guiding and long. These are the hills, green and rolling. These are the rocks, hard and rough. This is the mountain, bold and unmoving. This is the rain, refreshing and tranquil.”

In the group poem project we all had to come together as a table, and each write our own line of a story. In the end we came back and pieced it all together, into one big poem that makes senses, and shows how we felt.

The Water Cycle

Today some people from the City of Dayton Water One Source, came in and talked to us about the importance of taking care of our water. Some things they taught us was that there are rivers connecting going downstream into different parts of the world, and if we proceed to pollute and not take care of our planet we wont have one anymore. They also went into depth about the different types of job opportunities they have working in that industry. I found all of it so interesting, so I might look into perusing one of those jobs! :)
