Today I went to Delco Park. It was my first time going to the park, and to think it was walking distance was so cool. Once we walked to Delco Park we met an author who taught use about metaphors, and how to create some. Once he showed us how to do that we went our separate ways looking for metaphors to describe the park and what he saw. One metaphor I came up with was, " The water is tickled by the wind." I came up with that by watching the wind blow ripples into the water. After we came up with our metaphors, we processed to share them with each other. It was so much cool to hear what everyone had to say. After we did that activity we were free to do our own thing. My friend group went and played beach volleyball. Now the activity that involved the picture of grass was, we took a small portion of the park, and went into depth on what we saw from a lower level. It was really cool. It made me look on life differently. After we had our fun in the sun we walked back to school. I had such an amazing day that day.
